Birthdays are a big deal around here! I want to make sure everyone feels special on their special day. To me, birthdays are just as important (if not more so) than any other holiday. So I started thinking, if I decorate my house for every other holiday, why don't I decorate when it's someone's birthday? Nowadays we put up decorations for an entire month when it's someone's birthday. We even have a countdown! But there's nothing better than a banner to really make it special ;)
I wanted everything to match, so I cut up some coordinating scrapbook paper I had leftover from the centerpieces and countdown blocks I already made. Then I used some twine and a simple zig-zag stitch to chain them together. I love how it turned out! And now we're ready to celebrate proper. *B
